THE WHITE GARDEN

GERRARDS CROSS

A new client loved the white garden at Sissinghurst Castle designed in the 1930's by Vita Sackville-West.  They wanted to create a modern haven in their new Gerrards Cross home using a similar colour pallet .

The garden is still only 18 months old and far from maturity but will continue to grown and develop, giving enjoyment for years to come.   The Buxus balls and Jasmin (trachelospermum jasminoides) provide the evergreen structure throughout the winter months, making way for the stunning white blooms of Hydrangea 'Annabelle' in mid summer.

Due to the client having a number of pets, a solid boundary securing the garden from a main road was a must.  The modern style of fence used is not only aesthetically pleasing from day one but provides a strong support for the evergreen Jasmin.  This will eventually cover the fence to soften the Boundary and provide a stunning backdrop to their west facing patio.
